Farolito is an amazing school where the teacher make it so much fun to learn! Because of the small size of the group, we can have plenty of practice speaking and it makes it easy for interaction. If you are thinking about learning Spanish, I highly recommend it!

The beginners class has been terrific. It has been interesting, challenging and fun. Our teacher Hector is a very capable, dedicated teacher. I am learning so much and will definitely continue with Farolita!

Great school. The teachers are open to your needs and very responsive, helping you to get exactly what you're targeting with your Spanish. Class sizes are small and nobody gets left behind. There are also several options for study from intensives to weekly classes to private. Farolito fosters a friendly and fun Spanish speaking community.

I'm very happy with my choice of school. Teachers are super friendly and you always feel welcome. I was a bit scared to start leaning because English is not my first language but it's actually very comfortable and cosy in classes, small groups, teacher has time for everyone. So if you doubt, don't. Studying goes with small steps, not too much homework. Always happy to come to class.

Really great and passionate teacher! He teaches us not only Spanish, but the difference between accents from each region, cultural norms in Spain and Latin America, and a lot more valuable insights. The classes are fun and the students are friendly too.

Me and my 3 amigos signed up to get our Spanish up to scratch before a trip to south America. We managed to squeeze in three terms, which have been absolutely brilliant. Both Jan, the owner and Zoe, our teacher really cared about our development and were both really good teachers. We could not have asked for more! Lovely little Spanish school in South Yarra, great sized classes. Welcoming, fun and relaxed vibe. Tried other Spanish classes in the city and prefer this school by far. Would recommend!

Ive been studying with Farolito for the past year and it has been wonderful, I love the flexibility of being able to learn with online classes and the teachers are so friendly and easy to communicate with, the groups are small and not intimidating and the teachers are so knowledgeable yet they make the learning fun and engaging. I have been with Farolito Spanish school for one term and I recommend this school for anyone trying to learn Spanish. The course is structured clearly and the text book they use is very helpful (across several levels). My groups teacher, Sara, is very friendly and makes you feel comfortable!

Living rural having Farolito continue to provide online Spanish courses has been one of the few good changes that have come from the COVID-19 pandemic, and I'm so grateful to the team. I've had a number of different Spanish teachers over my many years of trying to learn Spanish and Jan is easily up there with the best. I couldn’t be happier with the classes I have taken at Farolito. It’s accessible, informative and lots of fun. I love the way the culture of Spain and Latin America is a part of every class, it keeps me engaged and wanting to continue learning. I had Sarah for beginner 1 & 2 and I loved her passion and energy and now have Jan for beginner 3 who has taken things to the next level. Really loving the class. For anyone interested in learning Spanish I highly recommend this school.

For me it’s been great learning Spanish with Farolito. The teachers are so energetic and fun, and are very keen for you to learn. And my classes have always been small which is very helpful. I’ll sign up again soon when the borders to the Spanish-speaking world open!

I have just loved learning Spanish with Farolito so far. Jan is such an incredibly good teacher – engaging, interesting and great at explaining things. Apart from picking up Spanish way faster than I ever expected I could, I've also enjoyed the 'new creative outlet' outside my 9-5, and meeting new people in my class.
