I’m currently in my second term at Farolito and I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to learn Spanish. The teachers are welcoming, positive and friendly, and classes are always engaging and fun. If you are thinking of learning Spanish, and are hesitant, give Farolito a try, you won’t regret it!

I have thoroughly enjoyed my first term at Farolito Spanish school. There’s a lot of class participation to practice speaking and listening with the teacher and other students, which is what I wanted out of the classes. Jan is a very patient and knowledgeable teacher, he always has tips and tricks on how to pronounce and remember words, they have been super helpful. Looking forward to another term of aprender español.

Confidence in my conversational Spanish really grew after attending Farolito Spanish. It’s such a great environment with small class sizes and the teacher. Really enjoyed the weekly classes as it motivates you to study before the class and keeps you accountable. Highly recommend!!

Jan is a great teacher and very knowledgeable and passionate about all things pertaining to languages & culture (not just Spanish). He is always willing to help and has a great positive attitude, I recommend his courses to anybody who wants to learn Spanish.

Me and my 3 amigos signed up to get our Spanish up to scratch before a trip to south America. We managed to squeeze in three terms, which have been absolutely brilliant. Both Jan, the owner and Zoe, our teacher really cared about our development and were both really good teachers. We could not have asked for more! Would recommend to anyone and everyone interested in starting to learn this beautiful language 🙂

I am loving Farolito Spanish school. I have completed beginners 1, 2, and 3 and am signing up now for beg 4. It helps so much to practice my Spanish in front of other students and try to have conversations with them. It pushes me out of my comfort zone but that is essential for me to gain confidence. Highly recommend.

Syon neel- Farolito is the best Spanish school in Melbourne by far. Every lesson shows an impressive amount of dedication and care on the teacher's part. The price is incredibly low and the quality of lessons is high. I would recommend it to anybody who wants to learn Spanish.

I couldn’t be happier with the classes I have taken at Farolito. It’s accessible, informative and lots of fun. Really great and passionate teacher! He teaches us not only Spanish, but the difference between accents from each region, cultural norms in Spain and Latin America, and a lot more valuable insights. The classes are fun and the students are friendly too.
