Ive been studying with Farolito for the past year and it has been wonderful, I love the flexibility of being able to learn with online classes and the teachers are so friendly and easy to communicate with, the groups are small and not intimidating and the teachers are so knowledgeable yet they make the learning fun and engaging. No matter your age or experience in Spanish, I highly recommend studying with farolito!

Really great and passionate teacher! He teaches us not only Spanish, but the difference between accents from each region, cultural norms in Spain and Latin America, and a lot more valuable insights. The classes are fun and the students are friendly too.

My daughter, Skye, has been taking the Beginners 1 class this past term and has thoroughly enjoyed it. Jan is an excellent teacher and he has helped her feel welcome and comfortable as the youngest student in the class. We will be continuing!

I have thoroughly enjoyed my first term at Farolito Spanish school. There’s a lot of class participation to practice speaking and listening with the teacher and other students, which is what I wanted out of the classes. Jan is a very patient and knowledgeable teacher, he always has tips and tricks on how to pronounce and remember words, they have been super helpful. Great school. The teachers are open to your needs and very responsive, helping you to get exactly what you're targeting with your Spanish. Class sizes are small and nobody gets left behind. There are also several options for study from intensives to weekly classes to private. Farolito fosters a friendly and fun Spanish speaking community.

I'm very happy with my choice of school. Teachers are super friendly and you always feel welcome. I was a bit scared to start leaning because English is not my first language but it's actually very comfortable and cosy in classes, small groups, teacher has time for everyone. So if you doubt, don't. Studying goes with small steps, not too much homework. Always happy to come to class.

Living rural having Farolito continue to provide online Spanish courses has been one of the few good changes that have come from the COVID-19 pandemic, and I'm so grateful to the team. I've had a number of different Spanish teachers over my many years of trying to learn Spanish and Jan is easily up there with the best. Having a background in linguistics his knowledge of languages is amazing but most of all he makes learning Spanish fun. I can't wait to continue my learning Spanish with Farolito.

Syon neel- Farolito is the best Spanish school in Melbourne by far. Every lesson shows an impressive amount of dedication and care on the teacher's part. The price is incredibly low and the quality of lessons is high. I would recommend it to anybody who wants to learn Spanish.
