I have just loved learning Spanish with Farolito so far. Jan is such an incredibly good teacher – engaging, interesting and great at explaining things. Apart from picking up Spanish way faster than I ever expected I could, I've also enjoyed the 'new creative outlet' outside my 9-5, and meeting new people in my class. Farolito language school is a fantastic environment to learn spanish. The teachers are highly skilled language teachers, helpful and know how to make learning spanish fun. I've been learning for a number of years and am looking forward to now being able to travel to spanish speaking countries and speak with the locals. Whenever I get the chance to speak spanish with native spanish speaking people I make sure I do and I love that I am now able to hold a conversation in spanish. Thanks Jan, I love your classes.

Syon neel- Farolito is the best Spanish school in Melbourne by far. Every lesson shows an impressive amount of dedication and care on the teacher's part. The price is incredibly low and the quality of lessons is high. I would recommend it to anybody who wants to learn Spanish.

The beginners class has been terrific. It has been interesting, challenging and fun. Our teacher Hector is a very capable, dedicated teacher. I am learning so much and will definitely continue with Farolita!

I've been learning with Faralito now since January and I would highly recommend this school to anyone wanting to learn Spanish. I personally love the face to face classroom learning and the location is very convenient next to South Yarra station. I have completed an intensive 2 week Beginner 2 course and am now in Beginner 3. I will definitely move to the next course and keep learning with Faralito. I really like the small group class format and the teachers are very supportive and creative with their learning techniques as you move through the units in the Aula textbook. So far I've had lessons with Samuel and Hector. Sam is an outstanding teacher who loves grammar and is very skilled at explaining difficult grammar concepts. Hector is very attentive and has set up a WhatsApp group for the class to help with homework and he is responsive out of hours for assistance which is really very helpful. The real effort of course is required by me! As good as the teachers are they can't do it for me and l also have to find other ways to learn and more time to study but Faralito is a great foundation and motivation for me.

Farolito has given me an excellent start to developing my spanish skills. Each course is well thought out and lessons are engaging and interactive. Their swift movement to online teaching was fantastic as well. Jan's extensive knowledge of language makes him an excellent teacher and his passion for teaching is always evident. I have thoroughly enjoyed the three beginners courses I have taken and look forward to continuing my journey and learning more about the Spanish Language. Thank you Jan and Farolito!

I'm so glad I chose Farolito to learn Spanish. Jan is a wonderful teacher. He's kind, patient, funny and won't laugh at you when you can't roll your 'R's. Mirvic is warm, welcoming and so helpful! Together they make the school a really lovely place to learn. If you want to learn Spanish, this is your place! Don't be afraid to try it, even if your starting from scratch (like me). You won't regret it.

Jan is an incredible teacher! I started from a complete beginner level and did the 2 week summer intensive program, and I can already have a conversation in Spanish! I'm so excited to start my weekly classes in feb 🙂 100% recommend!

There’s a lot of class participation to practice speaking and listening with the teacher and other students, which is what I wanted out of the classes. Jan is a very patient and knowledgeable teacher, he always has tips and tricks on how to pronounce and remember words, they have been super helpful. Farolito has excellent Spanish classes. The classes are taught in a structured way with a relaxed atmosphere. I don't feel like i'm missing out on anything by doing the online courses which suit me well as I live far from the city! Jan is a great teacher and I would highly recommend trying out Farolito 🙂

I couldn’t be happier with the classes I have taken at Farolito. It’s accessible, informative and lots of fun. I love the way the culture of Spain and Latin America is a part of every class, it keeps me engaged and wanting to continue learning. I had Sarah for beginner 1 & 2 and I loved her passion and energy and now have Jan for beginner 3 who has taken things to the next level. Really loving the class. Ive been studying with Farolito for the past year and it has been wonderful, I love the flexibility of being able to learn with online classes and the teachers are so friendly and easy to communicate with, the groups are small and not intimidating and the teachers are so knowledgeable yet they make the learning fun and engaging. I had been using Apps to learn Spanish online and I realized my Spanish cannot be improved by just studying online as I have no one to practice with and no interactions. Then, I found Farolito, the classes are fun and easy to follow, great teachers here. Contents in the class are just good to follow, which can keep up my interest in Spanish.
