I'm very happy with my choice of school. Teachers are super friendly and you always feel welcome. I was a bit scared to start leaning because English is not my first language but it's actually very comfortable and cosy in classes, small groups, teacher has time for everyone. So if you doubt, don't. Studying goes with small steps, not too much homework. Always happy to come to class.

I've completed 3 semesters at Farolito Spanish and have genuinely looked forward to every lesson I've had with Jan and Mia. They're both great teachers who create nice, warm learning environments and I'm looking forward to carrying on my studies with them 👍 ¡Muchas gracias chicos!

I have done 3 terms so far, and loving it. Jan makes the classroom so open and really helps you get confident to speak. The classes are small groups so you get a lot of time with the teacher and also practicing with classmates.

I'm so glad I chose Farolito to learn Spanish. Jan is a wonderful teacher. He's kind, patient, funny and won't laugh at you when you can't roll your 'R's. Mirvic is warm, welcoming and so helpful! Together they make the school a really lovely place to learn. If you want to learn Spanish, this is your place! Don't be afraid to try it, even if your starting from scratch (like me). You won't regret it.

Lovely little Spanish school in South Yarra, great sized classes. Welcoming, fun and relaxed vibe. Tried other Spanish classes in the city and prefer this school by far. Would recommend!

Ive been studying with Farolito for the past year and it has been wonderful, I love the flexibility of being able to learn with online classes and the teachers are so friendly and easy to communicate with, the groups are small and not intimidating and the teachers are so knowledgeable yet they make the learning fun and engaging. No matter your age or experience in Spanish, I highly recommend studying with farolito!

Living rural having Farolito continue to provide online Spanish courses has been one of the few good changes that have come from the COVID-19 pandemic, and I'm so grateful to the team. I've had a number of different Spanish teachers over my many years of trying to learn Spanish and Jan is easily up there with the best. Having a background in linguistics his knowledge of languages is amazing but most of all he makes learning Spanish fun. I can't wait to continue my learning Spanish with Farolito.

Me and my 3 amigos signed up to get our Spanish up to scratch before a trip to south America. We managed to squeeze in three terms, which have been absolutely brilliant. Both Jan, the owner and Zoe, our teacher really cared about our development and were both really good teachers. We could not have asked for more! I've been learning with Faralito now since January and I would highly recommend this school to anyone wanting to learn Spanish. I personally love the face to face classroom learning and the location is very convenient next to South Yarra station. I have completed an intensive 2 week Beginner 2 course and am now in Beginner 3. I will definitely move to the next course and keep learning with Faralito. I really like the small group class format and the teachers are very supportive and creative with their learning techniques as you move through the units in the Aula textbook. So far I've had lessons with Samuel and Hector. Sam is an outstanding teacher who loves grammar and is very skilled at explaining difficult grammar concepts. Hector is very attentive and has set up a WhatsApp group for the class to help with homework and he is responsive out of hours for assistance which is really very helpful. The real effort of course is required by me! As good as the teachers are they can't do it for me and l also have to find other ways to learn and more time to study but Faralito is a great foundation and motivation for me.

I am now in my second term at Farolito and I couldn't recommend it more! The classes are small which keeps the classes personal and engaging. The teachers are lovely and knowledgeable. The owners ensure that there is a nice community feel amongst students and I can't wait to keep learning Spanish. Thanks 🙂

Great school. The teachers are open to your needs and very responsive, helping you to get exactly what you're targeting with your Spanish. Class sizes are small and nobody gets left behind. There are also several options for study from intensives to weekly classes to private. Farolito fosters a friendly and fun Spanish speaking community.

I had been using Apps to learn Spanish online and I realized my Spanish cannot be improved by just studying online as I have no one to practice with and no interactions. Then, I found Farolito, the classes are fun and easy to follow, great teachers here. Contents in the class are just good to follow, which can keep up my interest in Spanish.

My daughter, Skye, has been taking the Beginners 1 class this past term and has thoroughly enjoyed it. Jan is an excellent teacher and he has helped her feel welcome and comfortable as the youngest student in the class. We will be continuing!
